C. Toby Calvo

President and CEO

Toby is a Naval Officer, Naval Aviator, and Desert Storm Veteran. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and is cleared for access to classified information. For over 14 years he has worked in the federal marketplace gaining experience in many capacities. Toby’s federal experience ranges from working directly with the government client as a lead engineer / researcher / subject matter expert to leading L1’s corporate business operations, proposal development and government contract compliance. His past performance relationships and experiences with such entities as the Department of Defense (all agencies), Department of Veterans Affairs, NASA Langley, MITRE Corporation, and Lockheed Martin Corporation have developed valuable relationships in L1 Enterprises’ marketplace. During his tenure as President of L1 Enterprises, Toby has established himself as an expert in federal procurement. Toby’s knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Proposal/Acquisition Strategy, and Federal Contracting have earned L1 Enterprises several significant multi-year federal contracts. As an opportunity to give back, Toby is currently a part time volunteer instructor at the National Center for Veteran Institute for Procurement assisting Veterans to develop and grow their businesses.

Kristen Calvo

Vice President of Finance & Operations

Kristen Calvo is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. Kristen also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Regis University. Kristen possesses outstanding computer skills developed through continuing education and certifications in software products such as QuickBooks, MS Word, Excel, and Publisher. These skills combined with her diverse experience, acute attention to detail, and endless drive are keys to L1 Enterprises success. Kristen plays many roles and is an intricate part of L1 Enterprises. As Director of Accounting, she is responsible for managing accounting functions within accounts payable, accounts receivable, as well as project accounting – ensuring accuracy and timeliness while seeking out improvements in the operational process. Additionally, Kristen serves as the Assistant Director of Finance where she is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the financial health of the of L1 Enterprises, the backbone of L1’s well-established infrastructure.

Christina Tippett

Vice President of Sales & Operations

Christina Tippett has been with L1 Enterprises since 2013 in L1’s administrative and business operations. She leads a staff of seven individuals at L1’s headquarters who provide government contract support, order processing, billing, customer service, and logistics coordination. Christina and her team have earned accolades from Federal Agencies across the Nation for their attention to detail, responsiveness, and efficiency. L1 is very proud of Christina and her team as in 2018 they successfully processed/executed/delivered on over 40,000 L1 government contract orders.  Prior to L1 Enterprises, Christina worked for various Federal Agencies including the Department of Homeland Security, where she worked with teams coordinating Secretary correspondence and reports in the offices of DHS Headquarters, CFO, and Science &Technology. In addition, Christina spent time with the Department of Defense working with Army Families and at the White House in the Office of Presidential Scheduling and Appointments.
